Following a police investigation, the man's details were found in the stop list, as a banned immigrant, as he was deported from the Republic of Cyprus, based on detention and deportation orders, in 2010.

The boat with the migrants was located at noon on Wednesday in a sea area, nine nautical miles southeast of Cape Greco, putting the Port Police in mobilization.
