The biggest project to support young unemployed is coming!

A new initiative of Lanitis A / foi and Coca Cola, which will increase the employability of young people up to 30 years old, is just around the corner. This is the "Youth Empowered" program which aims, by 2020, to help approximately 3.000 people acquire free, professional skills, supplies and networking opportunities, in order to make a positive change in their lives.

The “Youth Empowered” events will be hosted from December 5 to 7 at the Famagusta Gate, Nicosia, and will include training in basic personal and professional skills, such as CV creation, interview preparation, interaction and networking. and proper time management.

As revealed to INBusinessNews by Kalia Patsia, Public Affairs & Communications Manager of Lanitis Bros Ltd, the 15 companies that participate voluntarily in the program, have decided to create a common database, in which the CVs of all participants in "Youth Empowered ”, in order for them to be evaluated as a priority when the need arises for staffing new jobs.

According to Ms. Patsia, another innovation, which will be launched from 2018, is the creation of an electronic platform, through which those interested will be able to watch all sections of the program online.

Participation in "Youth Empowered" is free, as long as those interested have previously registered in www.youthempowered.com.cy. The Program is under the auspices of the Minister of Labor, the Municipality of Nicosia and the Cyprus Youth Organization.

The 15 companies that voluntarily support the initiative of A / fos Lanitis are: ANT1, IN Business, Delema McCANN, PWC, StudentLife, Cyprus Marketing Youth Society, Catercom, PopUP Nicosia, CYTA, Gen-Cyprus, HeartCyprus, Gloria Jeans, M & P, MKO AKTH and the Multipurpose Center of Nicosia.
