The total sales of petroleum products in Cyprus increased by 25% on an annual basis in November 2021, while compared to the previous month of the current year, they showed a decrease of 12,6%.
According to the data of the Statistical Service, in November the total sales of petroleum products reached 115.658 tons, recording an increase of 24,9% compared to November 2020.
There was an increase in oil supplies on airplanes with 284,6% and on ships 38,4%, as well as on sales of light fuel oil with 97,6%, asphalt with 29,5%, gasoline with 13,3%, heavy fuel oil with 5,3 , 3,1% and diesel with XNUMX%.
On the contrary, there was a decrease in sales of heating oil by 24,1% and kerosene by 44,3%.
Sales from petrol stations increased by 3,9% to 54.306 tons.
On a monthly basis, compared to October 2021, total sales of petroleum products decreased by 12,6%. Indicatively, the supplies of oil in airplanes recorded an increase of 2,2%, while the sales of gasoline decreased by 5,7% and of diesel by 3,0%.
In addition, total oil reserves at the end of November 2021 increased by 14,0% compared to the end of the previous month.
During the period January - November 2021, total sales of petroleum products increased by 5,2% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the Statistical Service notes.
