Specifically, around 10.30 in the morning, the help of the Police was requested, so that a woman who was pregnant with twins, from Paphos, could be immediately transferred to the Makarios Hospital.
Members of the Road Accident Prevention Team of the Traffic Headquarters and the "Z" team of the Nicosia Traffic Police immediately and safely escorted the ambulance from the GSP area to the hospital in Nicosia, where the delivery was then carried out.
