Another case of child sexual abuse, which lasted for at least 12 years, reached the courts yesterday. A little girl, when she was only 3 years old, allegedly started being sexually assaulted by a minor, then, a person in her environment, which gradually turned into rape accompanied by violence as the child reacted.
According to information, the offenses started to take place in 2004, when the victim was 3 years old, while the perpetrator at that time, whose family was friendly with the girl's family, was about 13 years old. For about 6 years, the victim was sexually abused in the form of touches on various parts of his body, while he was forced to watch erotic movies, but also to satisfy the perpetrator sexually.
Gradually and almost systematically the attacks took the form of rapes, which continued at least until 2016. At some point the minor found the strength to speak to her family and so a complaint was made. Immediately afterwards, the Police proceeded to arrest the 26-year-old, who was taken to court yesterday and his six-day detention was secured.
The information also mentions the shocking fact that when the minor began to realize what was happening, she felt remorse and cut her hands with a blade because she wanted to die.
The offenses being investigated against the suspect are child sexual abuse, rape, corruption of a female under 13 and indecent assault.
