With a safe pass and a fast 72-hour test, the schools will operate at the beginning of the new school year, said the Minister of Education, Prodromos Prodromou.
Speaking to Trito, he said that the Universities will operate differently, where a molecular test will be requested instead of the safe pass.
As for the schools, Prodromos Prodromou said that he would tour the workshop for free quick tests on students and not on teachers, a request which was submitted to the Ministry of Health and was rejected.
As for the protocol, he explained that it has been ready for a long time but it has not been sent to the schools because the last suggestions of the scientific team are expected.
For the use of a mask in primary schools, there is, he said, the strong recommendation of experts as last year but it has not become mandatory.
For the single desks, the Minister of Education stated that fifty thousand have already been placed in the school halls and more are expected to be prepared for the province of Limassol.
