The creation of a new electronic seminar for nurses working in Intensive Care Units (ICU) was announced by the 4th transnational project meeting of the ERASMUS + project "Improving the working environment for nurses in Intensive Care Units (ICU)" - HWE4CCN. The meeting took place in Barcelona, ​​on 25-26 January 2022.

According to a press release issued by the Pancyprian Association of Nurses and Midwives (PASYNM), the meeting was hosted by the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, which was represented by Dr. Mireia Laurado Serra and her colleague Estelle. The project is co-financed by the Erasmus + Program of the European Union and is managed by PASYNM.

It is noted that the meeting was attended by the Scientific Officer and coordinator of the project Dr. Evanthia Georgiou in collaboration with Dr. Maria Hatzimbalasi (Nurses and Midwives Association-CYNMA, Cyprus), Anca Sanda (Media Partners, Romania), Dr Adriano Friganovi S CN ( Croatian). The meeting was broadcast live and was also attended by the following partners: Madalina Cotiu (Media Partners, Romania), Aleksandra Gutysz-Wojnicka, Beata Penar-Zadarko (PTPAiIO, Poland) and Cristina Alfonso from UIC Barcelona.

At the official start of the meeting, the scientific manager and coordinator of the project, Dr. Evanthia Georgiou, addressed a greeting, thanking all the partners who contributed to the creation of the online platform and the successful completion of the project. The participating partners had the opportunity to comment and review all the activities that took place in recent months during a 15-minute presentation.

The press release states that during the first session, Dr. Georgiou presented the activities and results of the Project, the finances and the budget as well as the future perspectives. During the two-day meeting, the sustainability and dissemination of the results of the project - (internet platform) were discussed, as well as the writing of 2 scientific articles on Healthy Working Environments for ICU Nurses.

It is announced that the first open and multilingual mixed (online and in-life) training seminar has been created for nurses involved in the Continuing Professional Development (SEA) of ICU nurses but also for all nurses working in ICUs to develop knowledge and skills. their Healthy Work Environment (HWE) skills.

The training program is available as an e-learning platform and includes Online Training in Healthy Workplace (HWE) for Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurses, Methods, tools and support material for trainers participating in the ICU of Nursing Nursing Training Program. and Lesson Plans for the Six Dimensions of HWE.

The e-learning platform, concludes the press release, is available in six languages ​​(English, Croatian, Greek, Polish, Romanian and Spanish) as an Open Learning Resource with free access, use and reuse by anyone interested in the address.
