The identity of a young Cypriot commando is sought by Odysseas Christou, a researcher who manages the Facebook page, "1974 Testimonies & Evidence".

The page deals extensively with the research and publication of historical evidence concerning the Turkish invasion of Cyprus.
"These are two photos from Turkish sources. They show a young National Guard, possibly a commando, who was arrested in the first days of the Turkish invasion. In the first, it shows the injured person receiving medical care, probably a tetanus injection by a Turkish Cypriot nurse.
