President Anastasiadis was awarded for the development of economic relations between Cyprus and Greece

The Cyprus-Greece Business Association awarded President Anastasiadis for the development of Cyprus-Greece economic relations during the official dinner of the Association which was held, according to his announcement, with great success and with the participation of about 250 people.

In a short greeting during the event, the President of the Association, which belongs to the power of the CCCI, Joseph Joseph referred to the recent activities of the Association as well as its new plans for 2018.

At the same time, Mr. Joseph was left on behalf of the Association, an honorary plaque to the President of the Republic Nikos Anastasiadis for his contribution to the development of economic relations between Cyprus and Greece.

Mr. Anastasiadis, as mentioned in the announcement, thanked the Association for the honor it did him and stated that Cyprus will continue and expand its economic cooperation with Greece. He also said that Cyprus' relations with Greece will be extended even more to all sectors without exception.

At the same event and in the context of the annual awarding institution of its member companies for their contribution to the development of business relations between the two countries, the Association awarded the Cypriot Iakovidis Group and the Greek Company OPAP Cyprus.
The award was presented to the Iakovidis Group by the President of CCCI Chr. Agastiniotis and the Vice President of the Association Panagiotis Papafilippou. The award to OPAP Cyprus was presented by the Ambassador of Greece to Cyprus Elias Fotopoulos.
