The President briefs European leaders on the EEZ and Varos

The President of the Republic Nikos Anastasiadis is going to Brussels tomorrow, where he will participate in the work of the European Council that will take place on October 15 and 16.

According to a statement from the Presidency, during the Summit, the President of the Republic will brief European leaders on the latest developments in relation to the Turkish provocations and illegal actions in the enclosed city of Famagusta and in the EEZ of the Republic of Cyprus.

The European Council Summit will address, inter alia, the epidemiological situation in relation to the coronavirus pandemic, EU - UK relations, Climate Change, and EU - Africa relations.

President Anastasiadis will be accompanied in Brussels by Government Spokesman Kyriakos Kousios.
