According to the Assistant Police Director of Paphos Operations, Michalis Nikolaou, yesterday Thursday around 20:00, a 41-year-old man, under circumstances that are being investigated, lost control of the vehicle he was driving in the area of ​​Polis Chrysochous on the way from Prodromi to Polis Chrysochous.

Mr. Nikolaou told KYPE, members of the Polis Chrysochous police station went to the scene. The driver, who did not appear to be hit, started yelling, beating his hands on the car, and showed signs of intoxication.

He, according to the Police, refused to submit to an alcohol test, was arrested and taken into custody for the offenses of causing concern and drunken driving, while he resisted lawful arrest.

From further examinations by the Police, it was found that the 41-year-old was driving his vehicle without a driver's license, without insurance coverage and without a driving license.
