After the last decision for the third lockdown, the Pancyprian Federation of Leisure Center Owners Associations (OSIKA) through the president of Neophytos Thrasyvoulos described the situation for the reopening of the restaurants as very difficult.
In his statements to KYPE, Mr. Thrasyvoulou stated that the companies leave behind entire "stocks" (goods), pending issues and customers and create more problems, as a result of which the viability of the operation of the leisure centers becomes more difficult.
We, as the Pancyprian Federation of Leisure Center Owners Associations, did not replace the epidemiologists, considering that if the epidemiological situation in Cyprus is difficult and a decision should be made for a universal lockdown, it was well done.
He pointed out, however, that their wish and wish is for Cyprus to be "cleansed" of the pandemic so that they can receive tourism and for the state to help support businesses so that they can reopen.
