Recently, EAC customers have been informed by the Organization that they receive visits from persons posing as EAC employees to check the electricity metering meters.
According to an announcement by the Authority, these persons request to go to the room where the meters are kept and in some cases proceed to the interruption of the electricity supply to the premises.
The EAC clarifies that it has nothing to do with these individuals and calls on its customers to be very careful.
The announcement notes that the Authority conducts on-site visits to its customers' premises to check electricity metering meters at the request of the customer or in exceptional cases on its own, after informing the customer. In addition, the EAC staff who visit the premises of electricity consumers always have at their disposal their corporate identity.
