It seems that the next 24 hours are crucial for the tourist future of Cyprus.
The General Manager of PASYXE, Filokypros Rousounidis, spoke on the front page, referring to the tourism of Cyprus and what they expect for the coming days.
He initially clarified that June is a critical month as they expect to see some developments.
"For some time now we have been able to see some light at the end of the tunnel and this stems from our much improved epidemiological data, which will allow us at least in the near future to be evaluated in better categories and especially in the green category of Great Britain but "and other countries that interest us, such as Russia."
He went on to say that the difficulty they see is in the epidemiological picture of the countries from which we expect people. "The Nordic countries and Sweden are going from one lockdown to the next, and Germany is often issuing restrictive measures, especially for those who travel," he said.
In closing, he stressed that they hope at the end of the month to be in the green category for Great Britain so that we can welcome mass tourism.
