A coordinated restart operation took place on Friday night.
Specifically, around 21:00 in the evening, 114 Georgian nationals who were illegally in the territory of the Republic of Cyprus, either because they violated the terms of their residence permit, or because they entered and remained illegally, were sent back by a special chartered flight.
The operation was carried out under the coordination of the Aliens and Immigration Service of the Police, in cooperation with the Authorities of the Republic of Cyprus and the FRONTEX Organization.
