The joint Army and Coast Guard operation is underway, 50 nautical miles off the coast of the country. As SIGMA revealed last night, the joint venture began early Tuesday afternoon.
As SigmaLive is informed, around 11 a.m., the THESEAS ship sails again after being refueled. ALASIA participates in the operation as well as the two vessels of the port Evagoras and Posidonas that last night replaced THISEA.
The same information states that two of the five boats, while they said they would return to Lebanon, stopped a little further down, and thus until now 5 boats remain off Cyprus.
