The Police recommends special attention for a new fraudulent sending of mass messages for an alleged package to the Cypriot Post Offices.
According to today's police announcement, in the last few days there has been an escalation of the phenomenon of sending mass messages to e-mail holders, that they allegedly have a package in the Cypriot post offices and are asking them to certify the receipt of the message.
The Police recommends special care, since the specific message is deceptive and the public is asked not to respond to the messages or to activate the electronic link as there is a risk of charging.
