EVEA Satisfaction for the construction of golf courses in the Free District of Famagusta

The Famagusta Chamber of Commerce & Industry (EVEA) welcomes with great satisfaction the progress in the construction of golf courses in the Free Province of Famagusta. The construction of golf courses in the area was a constant request of both the Chamber and all the competent bodies of the wider area, which despite the strong desire of all, faced various technocratic problems which delayed its implementation.
EVEA, has indicated over time in all directions since the 1980s, the need to develop the project which will undoubtedly lead to the upgrade of the quality of the tourist product and will help to extend the tourist season.
Under the current unprecedented conditions experienced by both society and the business community due to a pandemic, but also the negative economic consequences it has caused, the promotion of the implementation of this project will be a stimulating economic injection in the affected economy of the region.
Concluding, EVEA appeals to all relevant government agencies to speed up the procedures for issuing the necessary permits so that this much-needed project can finally be implemented.
