The Ministry of Health, in an announcement, clarifies that from today, February 1, 2022, the differentiation of the test to stay procedure for students who are in close contact and have completed their vaccination program or have a disease certificate and the period has not expired. of 90 days. This distinction applies to those students who are close contacts of a confirmed positive incident diagnosed from February 1, 2022.

For close contacts who have completed their vaccination program or have a disease certificate and the period of 90 days has not passed, according to the protocol they are not obliged to self-limit and on the 3rd and 5th day of contact, they undergo a rapid antigen detection test (Rapid test), while there is a recommendation for performing PCR or Rapid test on the 7th day.

The Rapid test on the 3rd and 5th day can be performed either through the sampling units that arrive at the schools, or through the predetermined sampling points referred by the Ministry of Health.

It is noted that for close contacts who do not have a history of vaccination, or have received at least one dose of vaccine, or have become ill and the 90-day period has elapsed, they will have the option of either being limited to 10 days as provided in the relevant protocol and released on the 7th. day after Rapid test or PCR, or come to the predetermined points for a rapid antigen test daily for a period of 7 consecutive days after contact (excluding holidays and weekends).

Students participating in the "test to stay" are not required to come to the predetermined sampling points referred by the Ministry of Health for a rapid antigen test (Rapid test) on the 3rd and 5th day from the date of contact.

This measure only applies to school opening hours (including single all-day schools and optional all-day schools) and once close contacts are removed from schools, they should be restricted as they continue to be considered close contacts and do not will be able to take part in other evening activities (such as tutoring, sports, etc.)

Students should avoid being transported by public transport and go to school by private vehicle.

The absence of students / three from the class during the laboratory testing process will be justified.

It is clarified that, if a person is tested in the afternoon and is found to be positive, his contacts at school will be able to use the application of the measure "test to stay".

Primary and secondary school students living in remote or mountainous communities will continue to be served by the sampling points that will visit the schools.

In any case, the parents / guardians have the responsibility of escorting and supervising the children who will come to the sampling centers located in the schools.

Elementary school students in private and public schools are required to submit a negative Rapid test twice a week.

Secondary school students in private and public schools are required to submit a negative Rapid test valid for 72 hours.

It is clarified that students who have completed their vaccination program (two installments) or hold a 90-day sickness certificate are exempt from the above obligation.
