The refugees were shocked before the Pope. They also told their own testimonies about how they live far from their homes.

"I am far from my home, my family, my village. They ask me why I am here, where I will go. Every day I have to reduce everything I am and everything I want to become, to fit in a form. Explain myself to anyone who asks me. What to say; "Usually I have to answer, I am a foreigner, asylum seeker, immigrant, refugee or other," said an immigrant.

"What I really want to say is I am a sister, a neighbor, a believer. "I, like all of us, wander and think about what we are, I am many things", he concluded.
