As part of the fight against corruption, a 41-year-old member of the Police was arrested last night.
According to the Police, the arrest of the 41-year-old was preceded by a coordinated operation of the Internal Control Service of the Police, in cooperation with the Anti-Drug Service.
It is noted that the 41-year-old serves in a police station in Paphos District. This is considered a suspect for leaking information to a citizen related to drugs and for an upcoming investigation.
The arrested police officer is expected to be charged in writing while he will be made available.
