The 42-year-old was arrested in Greece, by the country's authorities, based on a European Warrant issued by the authorities of the Republic of Cyprus. A court procedure followed in which the Judicial Authorities of Greece decided to extradite the suspect to the Authorities of Cyprus.

After the decision to extradite the 42-year-old wanted man to Cyprus, members of the Nicosia Police Department went to Greece, from where yesterday afternoon, they accompanied him by air to Cyprus. Upon arrival at the airport, TAE members proceeded to arrest the suspect, with a court warrant issued for the purpose of investigating the case.
