Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar visited the "National Garden" in the enclosed area of ​​Varosi and inspected the work being carried out there, while in statements he said that Varosi opened last October, describing it as a "historic step".

According to the Press and Information Office, Mr. Tatar said that the pseudo-state will be further strengthened by exploiting the economic and tourist potential of Varos, which is located "within the borders of the TRNC" and reiterated that despite the pandemic, about 200 thousand people visited Varosi until today.

Tatar also said that the "tdbk" will become a much stronger "state" in all areas, taking the right steps in full harmony with Turkey.

According to the Gunes newspaper, separate meetings with the "Prime Minister" Ersan Saner and the Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar were held by a delegation of the Foreign Affairs and Interparliamentary Relations Committee of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan, Er. Nigar Arpadarai and Nasib Mahamaliyev.

Speaking during their meeting with Mr Saner, the head of the Azeri delegation, Samed Seyidov, said they would defend "the rights and law of northern Cyprus" at the Council of Europe.

Their visit to the occupied territories was scheduled to take place between July 16th and 19th, the Azeri MP said, adding that they had decided to extend their stay until July 20th due to the presence of President Erdogan in occupied Cyprus.

Noting that this is the first time that a political delegation from Azerbaijan has visited occupied Cyprus, Seyidov said that there will be a continuation and that they want "northern Cyprus" to be strong and "the Turkish people to rise", something for which must be joined by Turkey, Azerbaijan and "northern Cyprus".

In his own statements, Mr. Saner stated that Azerbaijan, together with Turkey, contributes to the Turkish Cypriot struggle, especially in the Council of Europe, and sincerely thanked the delegation from the Azerbaijani Parliament for being with them in their "national" cause and supporting them. .

In his remarks, Turkish leader Ersin Tatar said the pseudo-state is "a nation of three states" with Azerbaijan and Turkey, adding that he described the events in Cyprus as a "clash of civilizations".

He also said that the Turkish Cypriots are a Muslim people, the Greek Cypriots are trying to turn Cyprus into a Greek island and for this reason there have been conflicts and the Turkish Cypriots have always fought.

He expressed great satisfaction with Turkey's proximity to Azerbaijan and reiterated that they all come from the Turkish race, stressing that there should be no obstacles to the development of cultural and political ties between Azerbaijan and the Turkish Cypriots.

Addressing Tatar, Seyidov claimed that the Turkish Cypriot "people" should get rid of the two meters and two weights and added: "The brother must be next to the brother, the Turk must be next to the Turk and the people must see this ".

Thanking the Tatar who met them, Seyidov wished them to continue and strengthen their relations from now on, arguing that "the power of Turkey is the power of Azerbaijan, it is the power of the PDK."
