An announcement regarding the cases of positive cases in companies and establishments was issued by the Ministry of Health.
Based on the Decree that will be referred to as the Infection (Definition of Measures to prevent the Spread of the Coronavirus COVID-19Decree (No. 16) of 2020, in any company and / or in the public and / or wider public sector and / or in the Independent Services and / or in the Local Government Authorities, a case of coronavirus infection is detected (COVID-19) within 24 hours, for public health purposes, the Ministry of Health shall announce the relevant details, including the name and address of the undertaking and / or service of the public and / or wider public sector and / or Service and / or the Local Government Authority.
Therefore, the Ministry of Health, after receiving relevant information from the Epidemiological Surveillance Unit, wishes to inform the public about the following cases related to the detection of cases according to the results of laboratory tests for the SARS-CoV-2 virus received on 20 / 04/2020:
- KEDIFA Paphos (United Pharmacies of Cyprus) The person works in the warehouse of the company.
- Salad maker Eurofresh Fruit and Vegetables Ltd, Geri
Both people who tested positive and work in the above areas have been absent from work since April 15, 2020. However, the addresses of both companies were informed yesterday to detect a positive incident. COVID-19 in their premises and, based on the relevant Decrees, proceeded to all appropriate actions.
