Nike is launching a hijab for Muslim women athletes.
The headscarf will be released in early 2018 and will be advertised under the "Pro Hijab" product line.
According to the company, this will make it the first major sportswear company to launch a traditional Islamic headscarf specifically designed for racing.
The headscarf will be made of light and flexible material and will allow female athletes to follow the traditional Islamic practice of covering the head, without reducing their athletic performance.
