Nicosia and Athens are coordinating their actions, in view of the visit of Tayyip Erdogan to Athens, on the 7th and 8th of the month, in which the Cyprus issue will be discussed.
Last night, President Anastasiadis had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, while the two men will have similar contacts in the coming days.
Tsipras and Erdogan are expected to discuss the next steps in the Cyprus issue, with Athens putting the proposal for a new conference on the table, provided proper preparations are made, as agreed during President Anastasiadis' recent visit to the Greek capital.
During Erdogan's visit to Greece, the first Turkish President in sixty years, bilateral relations and Euro-Turkish relations will also be discussed.
According to the report, Tayyip Erdogan, who will also visit Thrace, will be accompanied by two hundred and fifty men of his personal guard.
