Developments in the occupied territories, as shaped by the outcome of the illegal parliamentary elections and the prevalence of extreme voices, are being studied by Nicosia.
Government Spokesman Nikos Christodoulidis told RIK that the rise of groups or parties that oppose a solution to the Cyprus problem is not a positive development.
The illegal electoral process in the occupied territories also brought many illegal naturalizations, a fact that will provoke a reaction.
Mr. Christodoulidis said that, for example, recently and in view of the electoral process, there have been naturalizations and the granting of so-called nationalities, something that has characterized a very negative development.
All this, he added, we have collected, analyzed and are preparing very specifically to move to the next period.
