The need for the resumption of talks aimed at the reunification of Cyprus, stressed the candidate for President, Stavros Malas, during a meeting he had in the British Parliament with Labor leader Jeremy Corbyn.

Mr Malas expressed his determination to work hard to restart the negotiations, pointing out that time is creating new irreversible accomplishments.
He called on Britain to put pressure on Turkey, stressing that the Cypriots do not need guarantees, but a reunited state within the European Union without the right to intervene.
During his visit to Britain, Stavros Malas was received at the Foreign Office by the head of the Eastern Mediterranean Department.
