The President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulidis is going to Vienna today to participate in a working dinner with a group of leaders of EU member states in Vienna organized by the President of the European Council Charles Michel and the Chancellor of Austria Karl Neuhammer.

In his statements on Thursday evening, during his arrival at the OEB, the President said that today he will participate in the working dinner organized by the President of the European Council and the Chancellor of Austria, to discuss, mainly, the strategic agenda of EU, next steps.

You know, he added, "that we have elections on June 9, so the new EU strategy will also have to be defined."

The President of the Republic stated that "we have specific positions on all major EU issues within the context of our effort to have a stronger voice and role in Brussels, for issues that either concern the strategic autonomy of the EU or immigration or the decision-making process".

"There are several issues and they will all be discussed tomorrow," he said.

Furthermore, according to Government Spokesman Constantinos Letympiotis, upon his arrival at the Chancellery, President Christodoulidis will be received by the Chancellor of Austria and will then sit down to dinner with the leaders of Austria, Denmark, Malta, Latvia, of Slovakia and Slovenia and with the President of the European Council.
