The Extraordinary Pancyprian Congress of the Ecologists 'Movement - Citizens' Cooperation was held this morning at the Journalisti Estia, where the MP of the Movement, Mr. Charalambos Theopemptou, was announced as the new President of the Ecologists 'Movement - Citizens' Cooperation.
At the same time, the Extraordinary Pancyprian Congress of the Ecologists 'Movement - Citizens' Cooperation approved the proposal of the Central Committee of the Ecologists 'Movement - Citizens' Cooperation for an extension of up to one year of the term of all the collective organs of the Movement.
Therefore, the term of the new President cannot be extended beyond October 2021, since until then a Pancyprian Electoral Congress will have to be organized.
With the assumption of the Presidency by Charalambos Theopemptou, the Movement enters a new accelerating period of preparation for the 2021 elections.
