In view of the holding of the 2024 Elections on June 9, 2024, for the nomination of members of the European Parliament and Local Government Authorities, the Ministry of the Interior informs about the following important dates:
02.04.2024
Last day of registration in the electoral roll.
Last day for submission of declarations for voting in the polling centers abroad for the Elections for the Nomination of Members of the European Parliament.
12.04.2024
Publication of decrees of the Minister of the Interior for the conduct of the elections.
Appointment of General Election Commissioner, Assistant General Election Commissioner, Election Commissioners and Assistant Election Commissioners.
Issuance of election warrants to the Registrar-General and the Registrars of Elections.
19.04.2024
Publication of notices by the Chief Electoral Officer and the Electoral Officers to determine the dates and places for filing nominations.
24.04.2024
Submission of nominations for the Elections for Members of the European Parliament.
25.04.2024
Submission of nominations for the Elections for Presidents of Provincial Self-Government Organizations, Mayors, Deputy Mayors, Municipal Councilors and School Board Members.
29.04.2024
Submission of nominations for the Elections for the selection of Mayors and Members of Community Councils.
10.05.2024
Issuance of a decree of the Minister of the Interior on the subdivision of the electoral divisions and the determination of the electoral centers.
31.05.2024
Publication of notification on the distribution of voters to polling stations.
09.06.2024
Conduct a vote.
Sorting and counting of votes.
10.06.2024
Announcement of elected officials.
Return of Election Warrants from the Chief Electoral Officer and the Electoral Officers to the Minister of the Interior.
