Finding a solution that will free Cyprus from the occupying forces and will create conditions for the final termination of the guarantee and invasion rights of 1960 remains an irreversible goal, stressed President Anastasiadis.
Speaking at an event of the Limassol Reserve Officers, he added that the goal is to create a state that fully and fully complies with the principles and values of the United Nations and the European Union, of which Cyprus is a full member.
The President of the Republic also mentioned that he made to the Secretary General of the United Nations the very clear readiness of the Greek Cypriot side to return to the table of dialogue, at the same time he stressed, he emphasized the limits within which Nicosia can move.
He expressed the hope that the forces that can exert influence in Turkey, to realize that peace and stability in the region also depend on their own interventions in Ankara, which, ignoring international law and the decisions of the ECtHR, maintains a defenseless country.
