The seismographic ship Barbaros is being sent by Turkey off Cyprus, according to the Turkish Cypriot website Happer Kipris.
According to the report, the Turkish energy is a response to the arrival of the drilling rig "Saipem 12 thousand" of the energy giant EMI, in the Exclusive Economic Zone of the Republic of Cyprus.
The website does not give further details regarding the course and the position of Barbaros.
Moreover, the international website "Marin Trafik" broadcasts that the ship is sailing off the Turkish coast, north of Cyprus, in Turkish waters.
Turkish war in Greek territorial waters
Meanwhile, the Ministry of National Defense was alerted by the presence of a Turkish warship in Greek territorial waters.
According to the correspondent of RIK in Athens, Fanis Papathanassiou, citing sources from the Ministry of National Defense, the ship reached Kafireas, very close to Attica and is now sailing in the Myrtos Sea.
Next to him is the frigate Elli, who watches his every move.
The Turkish warship, which is said to be accompanying the drilling rig bought by Turkey, is expected to arrive in Istanbul the day after tomorrow.
