It can hardly be justified to vote against a development budget that creates a surplus and perspective for the local economy, said the president of Dysi Averof Neophytou.
Speaking to RIK, Mr. Neophytou said that through the budget for 2018, the state has the ability to pay dividends to vulnerable groups of the population.
At the same time, he expressed the hope that Dikos will show the same responsibility and consistency of the previous years and will approve the budget.
Regarding the commitment of the 25 million euro fund for the Solidarity Fund for the rehabilitation of those who have been affected by the haircut, Mr. Neophytou said that the decision of the Parliament is respected. He stressed, however, that some people who a few years ago pretended to have sensitivities about this group of citizens could not follow this attitude.
EDEK
Edek does not clarify the position she will take in tomorrow's budget vote.
Also speaking to RIK, the president of Edek, Marinos Sizopoulos, said that the government's attitude towards the Movement does not give the opportunity for a budget vote easily.
He accused the government of unbridled partisanship and the exclusion of Edek from everywhere, as well as President Anastasiadis for failing to commit to the Movement for the adoption of two proposals for the restoration of the severed depositors.
Mr. Sizopoulos, however, expressed the assessment that there will be an exchange of views until the last moment and that there may be some variation in some chapters of the budget, which will finally make its vote possible.
