We know that the new Jazz is just around the corner, since the corresponding Japanese Fit has already been introduced. We also know that Honda is planning the development of a small SUV based on the new Jazz.
What we did not know is that the Japanese are studying the evolution of a hybrid version of the new SUV!
According to sources within the Japanese company, the hybrid SUV will use the Jazz Hybrid hybrid system which consists of a 1,5 liter gasoline engine, an electric motor and a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox i-DCD.
However, it is possible that the small SUV is based on the illustrated Honda Urban SUV Concept that was presented in Detroit in January.
We will know more about the hybrid version of the distant descendant of the HR-V in the fall.
