More beautiful, cheaper to use and safer, the renewed VW Touareg appears. It will make its debut at the Beijing show and its commercial launch will take place in the summer.
The updated version of the Touareg stands out from its redesigned front and rear. The luminaires have grown, are trapezoidal in design and are bi-xenon technology in all versions.
New is the grille on the front grille, as well as the lower air intake bumper, the new spoiler and the redesigned fog lamps.
At the rear, the bumper has been changed, while the luminaires are optional with LED technology. The 18 and 20 inch wheels have a new design, while 5 new shades have been added to the palette of 12 colors in total.
Inside, there are new options in the decoration, chrome details on the dashboard, while new are the aluminum rotary switches to control the functions of the vehicle.
The list of equipment includes new safety systems, while the 9 airbags are in the basic version of the renewed Touareg. New is the multi-system RNS 850 that will offer a number of services under the general title "mobile online services".
In Europe, the TDI options are 204, 258 and 340 hp, with the two V6s now being Euro 6 compliant, working standard with an 8-speed automatic transmission and having a stop-start system. These engines are SCR-DPF technology.
Consumption of the 204 PS V6 TDI BlueMotion version fell from 7,0 to 6,6 l / 100 km and CO2 emissions from 184 to 174 g / km.
