Cookies with ginger, honey and cinnamon

Ingredients for 6 people

  • 250 gr. room-temperature butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • ½ φλ. honey
  • 3 tbsp. cinnamon
  • 4-5 cups. flour for all uses
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp fresh grated ginger or 1 tbsp. powder
  • butter for the pan

Implementation

  1. Sift the flour and baking powder first. Then add the cinnamon and ginger.
  2. In another pan, beat the butter with sugar and honey until fluffy.
  3. Add the flour slowly. Then add as much flour as the dough comes out of your hands.
  4. Allow the dough to rest for three hours.
  5. Roll out the dough into a thick sheet and cut the cookies with a cutter into the shape you want.
  6. Butter a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
  7. Leave them to cool for a while, sprinkle with sugar and then unmold.
