Butter buffet with jam

The wonderful, traditional "buffet" originating from Trieste

  • 150 gr. butter fresh
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 70 gr. powdered sugar
  • 180 gr. soft flour
  • 2 vanilla
  • η of your choice


step 1

Pour the butter into small pieces in the mixer and beat well until fluffy. Add the two yolks and continue until they become a uniform mass.

Add the sugar and mix the flour slowly. After kneading it well, make it into a ball and put it in the fridge for about half an hour to tighten.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C. Place a non-stick baking paper in the pan and shape round and almost flat pieces of dough on it. With our finger we make a small hole in their center and we put a spoonful of the jam of our choice.

Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let them cool well.
