Minced meat pie with puff pastry

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 2 puff pastry sheets
  • 500 gr. ground beef
  • 2 grated onions
  • 1 grated tomato
  • 1 large egg
  • olive oil
  • 1 cup grated kefalotyri
  • salt
  • pepper

Implementation

  1. Fry the onions in oil first and then the minced meat until it changes color and its liquids evaporate.
  2. Add the tomato, salt, pepper and cook for 15′-20 ′. Allow the mixture to cool, add the egg and stir.
  3. Add the kefalotyri. Spread the mixture on the first puff pastry sheet, cover with the other sheet, carve and bake until it turns reddish.
