Ingredients
- 800 gr. shrimp, peeled and cleaned
- 1/3 cup teaspoon 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- Juice of half a lemon (about 2 tablespoons - add more if desired)
- 2 tablespoons water
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
Implementation
step 1
Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Add the shrimp, salt and pepper to the pan, if desired, and cook for 2 minutes on one side, stirring occasionally. Turn over and cook for 2 minutes on the other side until the shrimp start to turn pink.

Add the remaining butter, lemon juice and water. Cook, stirring, until the butter is melted and the shrimp are cooked (do not overcook them).

Try and add more lemon juice, salt or pepper, if needed to suit your tastes.

Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve on top of rice or pasta.
