Dolmadas with minced meat

Ingredients for 6 people

  • 3⁄4 kg lean minced beef
  • 1⁄4 kg vine leaves
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 tablespoon mint
  • 1 bunch of dill
  • 3 tablespoons of tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon of brown rice glaze
  • salt
  • pepper

Implementation

  1. Clean and wash the vine leaves well and boil them with hot water to which you have added a little lemon juice and salt.
  2. Finely chop the onion, dill and mint, mix with the minced meat and rice and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Take one - one vine leaf from the other side and put 1 tablespoon of the filling and wrap it in a long narrow dolmada.
  4. Place them in order in the pot.
  5. Add 2 glasses of water, cover them with a plate that fits on the dolmadas and cook for 40 minutes.
  6. If you cook them in a pressure cooker, you do not need to cover them with a plate and the cooking time is reduced to 20 minutes.
  7. Serve the dolmadas cold or at room temperature by adding lemon juice.
