Ingredients for 4-6 people

  • 2 green apples peeled
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1-1 / 8 cup full hot milk
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons dry yeast
  • 2 whole large eggs
  • 140 grams of unsalted butter
  • 4 cups flour for all uses
  • 1 / 4 spoonful of salt
  • sunflower oil for frying
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 / 2 spoonful of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup cold milk
  • Cinnamon and sugar for sprinkling

Implementation

  1. Make sure the milk is warm but not hot. In a bowl pour the milk together with the sugar and stir. In another bowl pour the yeast, add the warm milk into the yeast and let it rise for 10 minutes.
  2. Melt the butter in a separate bowl until it is almost completely melted but not burning.
  3. Add the beaten eggs into the melted butter and stir constantly with a fork. First make sure the butter is warm and not hot.
  4. Pour the egg mixture into the mixer bucket, stir constantly at medium to low speed and add the yeast mixture.
  5. Stir for a few more minutes, making sure it becomes a uniform mixture. Finely chop the apples and add to the mixture, continuing to mix with the mixer. Gradually add all the flour little by little until a soft dough is formed.
  6. Then transfer the dough to a lightly oiled bowl. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for 8 hours or better yet overnight.
  7. Take the dough out of the fridge and transfer it to a lightly floured surface. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1 cm.
  8. Using a donut cutter, cut the dough into discs. Then open the remaining dough and repeat.
  9. Place the donuts in a floured pan with oil paste covering them with a warm towel and leave in a warm place for 1 hour until they swell. In a large pan or saucepan, pour the sunflower oil and let it heat up enough.
  10. One by one, pour the donuts into the hot oil to cook for 1 minute on each side. Take them out and let them drain on kitchen paper.
  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until it becomes a uniform mixture.
  2. Then dip the donuts one by one in the icing and let them dry at room temperature. Otherwise, sprinkle the donuts with cinnamon and sugar.
