- 340 grams of sliced mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
- 1 loaf with yeast cut into cubes
- 340 grams of cheese for toast cut into thin slices
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup chopped green onion
- 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
- Heat a pan over medium heat and add the butter. Once the butter has melted, add the mushrooms.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes until they start to drain.
- Add the thyme and continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the pan from the heat and set aside to cool.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Cut the bread lengthwise and widthwise, without cutting it down.
- Place the bread on a greased baking sheet.
- Put slices of cheese between the gaps you have cut the bread. Place the mushrooms between the cheeses.
- Use your fingers to put the mushrooms in the loaf.
- Mix the butter, onion and poppy seeds. Pour over the bread. Wrap the bread in foil.
- Bake at 180 degrees for 15 minutes. Unroll the bread and bake for another 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
