Cabbage and carrot salad with yogurt sauce

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 8 cups chopped red and green cabbage
  • 1/2 cup grated carrots
  • 1/2 cup fresh onion cut into thin slices
  • 1 cup lean yogurt
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon grated garlic
  • Salt
  • freshly ground pepper

Implementation

  1. Mix the reds together with the green cabbages, carrots and onions in a bowl.
  2. Put the yogurt, mayonnaise, vinegar, lemon juice and garlic in the blender and mix until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad and mix gently with a ladle. Leave for 20 minutes in the fridge and serve.
