Ingredients for 6 people
For the dough
- 250 grams of powdered sugar
- 250 grams of flour
- 125 grams of unsalted butter at room temperature
- 1 large egg
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 lemon or orange, zest
- some milk
For stuffing
- jams of your choice
- 1 cup peeled strawberries cut in half
- 1/2 cup kiwi cut into pieces
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pineapple
- 1/2 cup grapes
Implementation
For the dough
- Add the sifted flour to the bowl of the mixer, the sugar and butter together with a pinch of salt and mix until a crumbly dough resembles crumbs.
- Alternatively, work the ingredients by hand, kneading them until you reach the desired result. Add the egg and the zest to the crumbs and stir a little more, to combine.
- If you find that the dough is too firm and does not work, add a little milk to the mixture. Wrap the dough with cling film and leave it in the fridge to rest for 30 minutes.
- Sprinkle the kitchen counter and the rolling pin with flour. Unroll the dough and open it into a thin to medium-thick sheet.
- Take small metal or silicone cases and fill them with the dough, making sure that it covers the walls and protrudes a little.
- If you do not have molds, make baskets by hand or give the tartlets the shape you want. If you do not have a mold, however, make sure to pierce the bottom slightly (not all the way down) so that it does not swell during baking.
For stuffing
- You have thrown on the counter the jams that you will use for the filling. Depending on the size of the tartlets, fill them with 1-2 spoons and smooth them slightly.
- Place the fruit 2 to 3 in each tart on top of each tart.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes, placing the grill in the middle position.
- The tartlets are ready when the dough is golden and the filling has thickened and blisters.
