If you are a parent you know that a hungry child can bring disaster. This seems to have been known by a waiter in a restaurant in Crete who, after taking the order, gave it to the kitchen having made a very important point.
Of course, the whole story "takes off" from the fact that the waiter uses the Cretan local language even in the written word.
