The comic characters from "Despicable Me" that has gained millions of fanatics in the four corners of the globe.
Some therefore strongly believe that the yellow creatures are based on "Jewish children abducted by Nazi scientists to be subjected to experiments with deadly gases." And they believe it so much that they came out in the "Telegraph" to open our eyes.
The theory is not new, as it has been on Twitter since July 2015, but now it has found a big hug in the conspiracy territory, as a photo-documentary is also circulating.
Except that this photo is not from gas chambers, but a submarine escape suit dating back to 1908, long before the rise of Nazism in Germany.
The theory is, however, that the Minions were invented to throw ashes in the eyes of the German people and ultimately to love Nazi ideology.
