Container House: Everyone wants to have a different home. Some people want their homes to be traditional. Others are looking for new ways to build a perfect home.
Reconstructing container houses may not be a new idea, but some people manage to surprise us with their skills and their ability to turn ugly cans into comfortable homes.
Such a home has recently received a lot of attention on Facebook. In one of the groups where people share houses made of containers, a man shared photos before and after the amazing project he did. Built in the lush landscape of Waikato, New Zealand, this beautiful home is for sale.
Container house: A majestic house with modern touches and industrial style
"Built majestically on top of a 6.221-square-foot hill, the main house incorporates twelve containers as part of its detailed construction and really has an attractive imposing presence," the Trade Me sale ad said.
The main house (the house also includes a small cottage and a garage), was built using 12 containers. (According to Refresh Renovations, each container can cost from $ 3.000 to $ 10.000).
"Designed in an industrial style and scale, the open-plan living spaces have a tall patio that houses a prominent staircase that connects to the upper floor. The natural light dominates the whole house that has individual living areas, up to six bedrooms, three toilets, three bathrooms and polished concrete floors, thus completing the industrial look "says the description of the house.
