What multimillionaire singer has a homeless son begging to make a living?

The revelation that a 29-year-old homeless man begging while playing the guitar in the streets of New Jersey is the son of multi-millionaire singer Tom Jones has caused a sensation.

Despite his father's fortune of 177 million euros, Jonathan relies daily on the obols of passers-by in order to earn some money to buy a plate of food.

On a piece of cardboard, which he has placed in his guitar case, he has written the phrase "I need money, please help me".

Jonathan Berkeley is the fruit of the short-lived bond that his mother, Kathryn, had with the famous Welsh singer. It was October 1987 when the 24-year-old model was seduced by the charm of “Mr. Sex Bomb ”.

Tom Jones had denied that he was Jonathan's biological father, but the DNA test confirmed it. Following a court order, he paid 1.900 euros each month as alimony until the child became an adult. Other than that, however, he was never interested in his son.

"I never received a card for my birthday or Christmas. I grew up watching photos of my father. But the phone calls and e-mails I sent him went unanswered. He never wanted to have a relationship with me ", says Jonathan, in the revealing report of the British newspaper Daily Mail.
