If the fact that auditions for Hollywood movies are terribly sexist towards female actors was not so widely known until today (it was), after all that followed, it is now clear what a woman who wants to pursue a career is experiencing. in acting. And we are not only talking about young and "anonymous" actors, but also professionals with a big name in the field.

Both Jennifer Lawrence and Emmy Rossum and several other famous actresses have spoken in the past about the tragic demands they faced during various auditions for roles. And now, the Jessica Chastain decided to portray exactly what an actress pulls in the vast majority of auditions.

Chastain was invited the other day to "The Tonight Show" by Jimmy Fallon, where he presented a sketch in which he goes to audition for the role of "Angela" in a movie. The song he is called to play is completely formal and simple: he just has to say "Hello, I'm Angela, I'm glad to know you". The casting manager (Fallon), however, insists on asking her to repeat the attack in a sexier way, while adding something to each of his new demands: sweeter, more innocent, more dangerous, more dynamic but "hot", sexier, sexier, sexier.

Of course, when it comes to the male actor auditioning for the male role in the film, the actor says the same thing once and everyone is satisfied.
